Last week my wife and I spent 3 days in Sevilla. We took the train from Malaga (via Córdoba) about 2 and half hour ride.
We stayed close ( about 3 minutes walk) to the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. Sevilla is a beautiful city, lots of tourist but being a larger city than Málaga it does not feel as congested. We arrived by noon and the first visit was to Plaza de España.
I will not go into details about the history of the building, just want to say that it is amazing sight to see. You wonder the amazing skills back in 1929. Beautiful !
The rest of the afternoon we spent walking around the historic center and appreciating the history of the city. The walk took us to the Triana neighborhood and visited the the Gold Tower on the way there.
Also, strolled along side the Guadalquivir river where we ate lunch overlooking the river and the Triana neighborhood.
The following day we visited El Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla Cathedral and climbed the Giralda tower where you have a 360 degrees view of the City.

I don’t know why but I was disappointed with the archives, I guess I was expecting more documents from the Caribbean Islands instead of the mainland colonies like Mexico, Peru….
The rest of the day we visited the new but famous Setas de Sevilla. Really a good place for pictures and another 360 view of the city.
The last day we visited the Royal Alcazar of Sevilla, besides the historical value of this monument, this the place where some episodes from the series season 5 and six were filmed.
Overall, I think that I will return to Sevilla.
